Zucchini Squash

This item is for ONE Pound Zucchini squash. The zucchini is a long, cylindrical vegetable, slightly smaller at the stem end, usually dark green in color. The flesh is a pale greenish-white and has a delicate, almost sweet flavor.

Zucchini is great in stir fries, soups, pastas, and the classic zucchini bread. Our favorite way to enjoy zucchini is in Smitten Kitchen's Zucchini Butter Spaghetti. Sometimes we even add a protein like chicken or shrimp.
